NO FAMILY SHOULD GRIEVE ALONE

Raising Awareness & Driving Research

The Atlas Project exists to raise awareness of SUDC, support families navigating this loss, and drive the research that might one day bring answers. In 1 year and 16 days, Atlas changed us forever.  The Atlas Project SUDC foundation is how we honor every day he gave us.

If you've experienced the loss of an infant or young child, we are here to support you.

WE CARRY HIS LIGHT FORWARD

Atlas's Story

Atlas Thomas Yamin — "Atlas Baby" — had an infectious smile, a love of adventure, and a bond with his big brother, Khan, that was truly special. In his short life he explored five countries, spent hours playing outside, and brought light into every room he entered. On July 10th, 2025, after a peaceful evening with his family, Atlas didn't wake up. Despite a thorough autopsy and extensive testing, doctors found no illness, no abnormalities, and no explanation. His passing was classified as Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC).

His story is why The Atlas Project exists, so no family facing this unexplainable loss has to face it alone.
